Every year I know I will have at least one Christmas mini request…it will always be Megan. This year was no exception.
There is not much to say about this session except it was perfect. The lighting was perfect, the field was perfect, and “baby” Colton was the perfect participant. I think that Megan even called the photos perfect. I just love this little family. Thanks for letting me the official Pyle photographer Megan and give Colt a kiss from us!
I was the one to reach out to Emma for this session. If you know anything about Houston (area), you know we had a pretty tough go of things during Harvey. Emma and her children were one of the many, many families effected by Harvey. They lost their home and a lot of their belongings to the floodwater. I had been following their journey on Facebook since that nightmare of a week and decided to offer Emma a photo session.
Just to mark the moment.
She agreed, but was concerned they wouldn’t have anything nice to wear. I suggested Astros World Series gear (I know they are big fans) and it was a hit. With a grateful heart Emma explained “As of now, life is defined as ‘before Harvey’ and ‘after Harvey’… [these are] our after photo[s].” I am happy to do them for you Emma, I hope they bring you some peace and remind you how far you’ve come.
Dante is a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon (did I get that right Mike?) I was super excited to get to have a session all about him. You see, mike and Dante live nextdoor and we are always fascinated with him when he comes over for a visit. I like to joke that he looks like a giant Muppet. In reality though, he really is a cool dog. Mike has spent a lot of time working with Dante and walks him for at least 2 miles daily. Take a look, you’ll see just how much these two like just hanging out together.
Christmas minis are back! This year I kicked off mini sessions with the McBee family. They are our neighbors and close friends, but we just call them “framily”.
The McBees are fairly new to Texas from California so they wanted to give their session a little Texas vibe. Boots, jeans, the Astros logo, and a Katy, TX landmark for the backdrop, I think they nailed it!
Here they are…
Merry Christmas McBees! We love you guys!
This mama and her sweet baby boy have been through so much the last few months. After following Rachael’s story on facebook I was excited to finally meet her little man. They are proof there’s nothing like a mother’s love!
Rachael, thank you for sharing you little blue eyed cutie! Merry Christmas and happy New Year to you both…
I can’t believe today is already back to school for the 2016-2017 year. What better way to kick off the first day of school than with a senior session!
Meet Shannon…she is a senior in College Station and has an exciting year ahead of her! Shannon already has a scholarship to play soccer for Concordia University in Austin next year and is eager to embark on her final year of high school. In addition to her dedication to soccer, Shannon likes being with her friends. They can often be found shopping or hanging out at quirky local coffee shop – where we made a stop to snap a few pictures (and grab a treat) but, that was only part of our adventure. Shannon I had so much fun spending the day with you, I hope you enjoy the pictures and your Senior Year…
For our last stop Shannon took me to the famous Bottle Cap Alley!
In addition to Shannon’s other interests and commitments she was asked by a dress shop in Houston to be an ambassador for them. There’s no question why, isn’t she just beautiful…
Best Wishes Shannon, I know you’ll have a great year!
It has been so fun watching Austin grow this first year. You may recall I got to meet Austin just a few days old for his sweet newborn session, then again around 3 months, and 6 months. He has been such a fun little model always happy and willing to flash the best smiles. Although, he was unsure about the cake, his first birthday session was not any different. He laughed and made faces the whole session.
Look how cute he is with his little birthday bow tie and big blue eyes!
Off into the sunset…
Michelle, I hope that you enjoy the pictures as much as I’ve enjoyed capturing them. Thank you for sharing Austin’s first year with me. I look forward to watching your family continue to grow.
